In a recent interview, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg stated that user information on the internet will ultimately be public by default.
Facebook become the most loved social networking website due to the strict privacy rules that applied to user information. However, Facebook might change that in the future.
Facebook made some changes to its Privacy policy last month that resulted in significant changes.

In other words, if somebody searched your name on Google right now and clicked on your Facebook profile link, that person sees what pages and products you joined as a fan and also your gender.
