The New Folder.exe virus has spread rapidly . There are more than 3 variants of this virus.






The virus just deletes or hides the folders on an infected computer. Moreover if you copy a folder from an infected PC to a USB pen drive, the virus copies itself. If you view the contents of your pen drive on another PC, the folder is absent or the virus creates a new folder with same name with size 1.2 mb approximately.



The only way to save files is to copy all the files to your pen drive directly. Don't make any folders in your pen drive. You can view these files on another PC.
