Flash or Flex which is better?

The main reason for development of Flex was that Flash was not convenient for developers.The timeline designed in Flash suited designers more than programmers.Macromedia then came up with the idea for developing Flex which had its own language :MXML.

But which is better Flash or Flex?

In Flex development is easy compared to Flash(comparing versions 3of Flex and Cs3 version of Flash).But Flex requires a lot of memory compared to Flash.
To add to that Flex is easier to learn than Flash.This is due to the new Adobe policy of spreading Flex as a cheaper product than Flash..

Flex wins ........it is indeed better than Flash......
