How to get relevant Google adsense advertisements on your site or blog.

You have a technology based site, however you see (AdSense) advertisements related to gardening.



There is something you can do to solve this problem, to get relevant Google AdSense advertisements on your website or a blog. . You can use section targeting.


To implement section targeting, you'll need to add a set of special HTML comment tags to your code. These tags will mark the beginning and end of whichever section(s) you'd like to emphasize or de-emphasize for ad targeting.

The HTML tags to emphasize a page section take the following format:
<!-- google_ad_section_start -->
<!-- google_ad_section_end -->


The section your are targeting should go between the above two tags.

For Blogger blogs, to implement Google AdSense section targeting, follow the following steps.

Step 1: Click on Layout tab, then click on the 'Edit HTML' link.

Step 2:  Add the section targeting code as under

To implement section targeting for Blogger blogs with older templates the start code should go before the post begins.



The end code should be put after the end of post.
